Welcome to Double Deez Decoys. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at doubledeezdecoys.com (the "Site") and your purchase of any products or bundles offered by Double Deez Decoys LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By visiting our Site, placing an order, or utilizing our equipment, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions contained herein, do not access our Site or use our products.

1. General Overview & Eligibility

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion, including if we suspect fraudulent activity or unauthorized commercial resale.

2. Assumption of Risk & Field Liability Disclaimer

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. WATERFOWL HUNTING AND OUTDOOR RECREATION ARE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES.

  • Express Assumption of Risk: Waterfowl hunting, marsh navigation, wading in deep or cold water, handling loaded firearms, operating watercraft, exposure to hypothermic conditions, and outdoor field operations carry severe inherent risks of personal injury, permanent disability, drowning, illness, and death. By purchasing and deploying Double Deez Decoys LLC products (including all decoys, tactical rig packs, and hunting accessories), you voluntarily, knowingly, and expressly assume all risks associated with your sporting and outdoor activities.
  • Release of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Double Deez Decoys LLC, its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and suppliers shall not be liable for any personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, loss of gear, firearm discharge accidents, watercraft mishaps, hunting dog incidents, wildlife encounters, or third-party claims arising out of or related to the handling, field use, deployment, transport, or misuse of our gear. You agree that you are solely responsible for your own safety and the safety of those accompanying you in the field.

3. Non-Flotation Device Disclaimer

DOUBLE DEEZ DECOYS PRODUCTS ARE NOT LIFE PRESERVERS OR PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICES (PFDs).

Product descriptions referencing "unsinkable," "buoyant," or water-resistant characteristics refer exclusively to the intended functional buoyancy and product durability of our decoys while positioned on the water surface during hunting.

Double Deez Decoys products, packs, and accessories ARE NOT LIFESAVING EQUIPMENT AND ARE NOT USCG-APPROVED. They are not engineered, rated, or intended to support human weight, assist distressed swimmers, or prevent drowning. Never rely on decoys, rigging, or tactical packs as flotation or survival gear in water.

4. Regulatory Compliance & Hunting Laws

The purchaser and user assume sole responsibility for researching, understanding, and strictly adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local game regulations, season dates, bag limits, licensing requirements, and Department of Natural Resources (DNR) or Fish and Wildlife rules. Double Deez Decoys LLC assumes no liability for citations, fines, confiscation of equipment, license revocations, or legal penalties resulting from the deployment, use, or transport of our decoys or spreads.

5. Return & Refund Policy (Field Gear Conditions)

We take pride in our equipment, but strict return conditions apply to prevent field abuse:

  • 30-Day Window: Return requests must be initiated within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery.
  • Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for a refund, products must be in their original, unused, unwashed condition, with all tags and original packaging intact.
  • Ineligible Returns: We strictly reject returns on items that have been deployed in water, placed in mud, exposed to marsh conditions, shot, cut, modified, or altered in any manner.
  • Return Shipping & Restocking: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a verifiable manufacturer defect confirmed by our support team prior to return shipment.

6. Shipping, Delivery & Porch Piracy

  • Transit & Delivery: Once an order is transferred to a third-party shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx), transit times are subject to carrier operations and weather disruptions.
  • Delivered Shipments: Double Deez Decoys LLC is not liable for stolen packages or "porch piracy" where tracking records confirm successful delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout. Please ensure your delivery location is secure.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Double Deez Decoys LLC, its directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind—including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, replacement costs, or any similar damages—whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising from your use of any product or service procured from us.

In any jurisdiction that does not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Double Deez Decoys LLC, its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our products, or your violation of any hunting law or third-party rights.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you products or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or products purchased shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in York County, South Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
